Prison Ministry

For God sent not His Son
into the world
to condemn the world;
but that the world
through Him
might be saved.

The Bible Church of Christ’s Prison Ministry consists of Spirit-filled believers called by Jesus Christ, who have a love for souls.

These “front-line” Missionaries of The Bible Church of Christ, Inc. travel great distances to minister to those who are confined. They share the Love of God through praise and worship, testimonies, prayer, and the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those that are incarcerated. These dedicated Missionaries lead souls in the Way that leads to eternal life. Jesus saith unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.

By ministering and teaching the Word of God, the detainees receive a clearer understanding of why it was necessary for Jesus Christ to lay-down His life and shed His blood for us, and why it is imperative that we be “Born again. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

In these interventions, lives are changed, and for those who believe and voluntarily want to be “Born Again,” prayer is ministered for them to receive The Baptism of the Holy Spirit.

When the “Good News” is heard and received, great joy, new hope, and a renewed outlook on life is obtained. Many not only repent and receive Salvation and the forgiveness of sins, that can only be received by way of Jesus Christ, but they are now able to forgive those who have previously wronged them and are more optimistic about their future.
